Dear Brothers,
The Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity ended the year with many exciting, but endearing events. Earlier in November, our fraternity participated in the annual Relay for Life event, an organization that raises money for the American Cancer Society. To contribute to Relay’s mission, our brothers hosted a Sig-Ep Shakes fundraiser at the Relay for Life event and sold protein shakes and smoothies to all those that attended. We want to recognize our brothers for raising money and contributing to this cause. The following week, our chapter hosted our annual Thanksgiving dinner where our brothers gathered together to eat some delicious food, talk, and have fun. It was a great way for our brothers to connect with each other as they approached the busiest time of the semester.
Our chapter also carried out the annual SigEp Executive board election during the month of November where we spent the entirety of a day choosing qualified candidates to lead our chapter. We want to congratulate Sam Yonker (President), Shawn Monteiro (Vice President of Programming), Carter Rodriguez (Vice President of SigEp Learning Community), Jayden Chacko (Vice President of Finance), Julian Garcia (Vice President of Member Development), TJ Huber (Vice President of Recruitment), Derrick Zimmers (Chaplain), Shudant Gautam (Vice President of Operations), Aiden Smith (Vice President of Communications), and Devin McNair (House Manager). These ten dedicated and committed brothers have proven to be leaders and their efforts will shape the future of our chapter.
Lastly, our chapter also would like to recognize our graduating seniors. These members have displayed our cardinal principles to the fullest of their potentials during their time with Sigma Phi Epsilon. They proved to be impactful leaders throughout our fraternity and campus, achieved academic excellence, and overall symbolized the true meaning of what is to be a brother. Congratulations to Gavin Pokersnik, Sunny Yadav, Akhil Aitha, Amol Koli, Sully Ochs, Brian Frisch, Yash Byreddy, Cameron Hoffman, Joel Kasik, and Dalton Issac on their achievements. We wish them the best for their future endeavors.
We want to wish everyone a Happy New Year. We will make 2025 the best year!
