On February 23rd, we teamed up with the Ronald McDonald House Charities and volunteered at their facility. The Ronald McDonald House is a non-profit organization with a focus on three key programs: providing accommodations and resources for families who travel far from home to seek medical treatment for their children, offering private spaces for families in hospitals to unwind and de-stress, and delivering essential resources like medical, dental, and healthcare services to underserved communities.
During our volunteering session, our group helped with cleaning and organizing the living areas where families who have traveled long distances stay while their children receive medical care. This involved removing trash from the facility and play areas, cleaning floors and surfaces, moving out old equipment, and disinfecting tables. Every helping hand made a meaningful impact, and by contributing our time, we were able to help create a clean, welcoming, and supportive environment for families during their difficult times.
We are grateful to everyone who joined us in this effort to make a positive difference in our community.
