Dear Brothers,
March was a momentous month for the chapter as the brothers dedicated themselves to many service events. SigEp heavily emphasizes service as a corner stone for community enrichment and character development. Through these service events we are able to represent our chapter’s core values. We kicked off the month by hosting our SigEp Sliders fundraiser where our brothers sold tickets to our sliders event. The SigEp brothers also gave their time to help prepare and make sliders. The successful slider event was followed by the Big Event where our brothers went to the junction coalition to take part in various tasks such as picking up trash, raking leaves, and handing out pamphlets to Toledo residents. Their services were highly impactful to the Toledo community. The brother’s service initiatives were also evident at the Sunshine events. SigEp has partnered up with Sunshine where our brothers help organize entertaining events such as bowling, bingo, and x-golf. They are biweekly events and have strengthened our relationship with Sunshine for a long time to come. Lastly, the SigEp brothers came out to volunteer events hosted by The Bridge who is led by our very own Sean Hanna. The brothers came out and helped prepare sandwiches and bags to hand out to the homeless in downtown Toledo.
In essence, the brothers of SigEp provided valuable service time this month making a significant difference to the Toledo community representing our efforts towards to community impact.
