First off, we hope everyone is staying healthy and is well. It is times like these where Virtue, Diligence, and Brotherly Love are so very crucial.
At the Ohio Iota Chapter of Sigma Phi Epsilon, the COVID-19 virus has forced us to move all chapter operations to remote format. However, many brothers have been able to brainstorm incredible ideas to help our chapter function the best it can.
A few notable aspects of remote operation we have incorporated is modules via Skype, Zoom, FaceTime, etc. Feedback from members has been positive as it still allows them to receive valuable information presented in the modules, while also getting to interact and have fun with their brothers. Another way we are staying connected is by highlighting specific aspects of the BMP App that will still be attainable through social distancing measures. The executive board and regional director are taking certain aspects of the BMP app on a case-by-case basis.
Looking onward, we will be implementing a “Message from the President” article from our very own, Preston Ewald. This is an aspect we hope will be able to keep the whole chapter updated and connected while also communicating the article to all of our social media platforms in hopes to inform the University and alumni.
