The 56th Grand Chapter Conclave was such an amazing experience for our chapter. Ohio Iota won a gold Buchanan cup, making it our ninth in a row! This is the highest honor a chapter can receive! We have now received 13 Buchanan cups representing 26 years of excellence over the course of 36 years. Our alumni president, Ted Behnken, was also recognized for the Order of the Golden Heart. This is an extremely prestigious award, as only 170 out of over 340,000 alumni have ever been given this honor. We had an outstanding turnout of 29 undergraduate members from the Ohio Iota chapter of Sigma Phi Epsilon. This won us the Manpower Award for having the most undergraduate members to attend the Grand Chapter Conclave. We have so much to be thankful for here at the Ohio Iota chapter. A huge thank you goes to The University of Toledo, as well as Sigma Phi Epsilon Nationals.
We will always strive and never settle. We will continue to push Greek life in the right direction and give our members the best college experience possible! Every single member that attended learned so much about what it means to be a fraternity man. We had the opportunity to connect with alumni, learn more about chapter operations as well as learning about ourselves. Conclave gave us so much and we cannot wait to make our brothers proud!
