Dear Brothers,
March was a busy, but rewarding month for our chapter. We would first like to highlight our service events throughout the month of March. Our chapter had the privilege of participating in the annual Big Event hosted at the University of Toledo. 50 of our brothers along-side the sisters of Alpha Omicron Pi volunteered their time to support the Junction Coalition, a non profit aimed to help create opportunity for the Toledo community. Our brothers took part in a mass neighborhood clean up such as improving the state of the community garden and cleaning the roads. All of their efforts positively impacted the organization’s future endeavors and benefited the overall community. It was uplifting to return to such an amazing organization and contribute to the betterment of the community. In addition to the Big Event, our brothers continued to volunteer their time with the Sunshine community. One of our notable events was hosting a game night with their community where our brothers played various games and connected with members of the sunshine community. The joy and connection shared during the event was a reminder of the impact our chapter can have by spending time with the Sunshine community.
Our chapter also hosted a Sigma Phi Epsilon Alumni Basketball Game at the Savage Arena. The event was a perfect blend of nostalgia and friendly competition, as our alumni brothers faced off against the current brothers in an intense 5v5 match-up. The game was closely contested, but in the end, the Alumni team was victorious. It was truly special to see our alumni reunite with old friends and build new connections with our current brothers.
Spring break was also a notable week this month. Our brothers traveled to places across the country from the beaches of Florida to peaceful camping trips in the woods. It was a time for our brothers to recharge and reconnect with each other.
As we approach the end of the Spring semester, we hope everyone finishes their semester strong!
