Dear Brothers,
This last weekend members of our Executive Board , other men from the chapter, as well as our very own AVC President Ted Behnken went to Chicago for Carlson Leadership academy. At this event they were each taken through their own unique paths meant to foster leadership skills and development. The lessons learned from these key speakers and exercises were invaluable and are sure to have a significant impact on all who attended as well as the chapter as a whole. The exchange of ideas between different chapters on how to enhance the SigEp experience, image, and culture has invigorated our Executive Board with bright ideas for the future and beyond.
As a fraternity we had the unique honor of being awarded the Talent Power Award for Excellence in Recruitment, the Sunago Award for Excellence in Mentorship, and the Benjamin Hobson-Frayser Award for Excellence in Communication. These awards serve to display our shared successes as a chapter over the past year and will give us motivation to maintain and strengthen a high standard for ourselves moving forward.
With new lessons in hand and a firm resolution to keep our obligations to the success of the chapter and ourselves, Carlson Leadership Academy has served as a vital steppingstone into a successful 2024.
